He called because he noticed the water flow pressure in his pool and water features is weak. We went out to investigate and the owner of the company found that due to the large volume of leaves and dirt that had been blown/washed into the pool due to storms, has clogged up the filter. A backwash alone did not solve the pressure flow issues. We had to take the filter completely apart and wash everything off until white again. After this was done and the filter reassembled the water flow pressure returned to normal and everything flowed perfectly.

Mark is a weekly pool maintenance customer of ours. He called on Monday because he noticed his pool pump is not circulating water. The gauge on the filter housing shows pressure but no water is circulating even when I turn the valve on for the water features, they do not work. Filter pressure is at 20 and the water is very dirty. First we suggested his variable speed pump was running at too low of a speed so he needs to turn it up. This did not solve the problem so the owner of Sterling Pools went to his house. After a thorough inspection of his equipment and valves, it was determined the filter had not been cleaned and required a filter clean service be done as well as a salt cell clean. After he performed these tasks there was noticeable circulation in the pool and water flowing freely through the pool pump.

Mr called us because he believes his pool motor needs to be replaced because it isn't pushing any water. Sterling's owner went to evaluate this issue. The motor did not need to be replaced but he did replace the seal and gasket then evaluated the performance. It all checked out after he was finished.

He reported his booster pump which is for the pool sweep is making a loud buzzing noise. We replaced the capacitor on the pool sweep pump motor and it works as intended.
