One of our technicians went to see why the customer was having a problem with the pool valve that diverts water to the water features. Upon inspecting the automatic Jandy valve, he found the valve actuator had failed and needed to be replaced. After this the valve worked by remote or manual control.

Our team performed a leak detection test and were able to pinpoint its location. We did the necessary repair to the PVC lines underground to stop the leak. Dale then commissioned us to do the renovation and re-plastering for his pool.

When we arrived on-site, the owner of the company found that the water flow pressure was caused by a large volume of leaves and dirt that had been blown/washed into the pool because of storms. The debris had clogged the filter. A backwash alone did not solve the pressure flow issues. We had to take the filter completely apart and wash off everything until the original white color was spotted again. After this was done and the filter reassembled, the water flow pressure returned to normal and everything flowed perfectly.

After looking at Mark's pool pump, we suggested his variable speed pump was running at too low of a speed and needed to be set at a faster level. This did not solve the problem, so the owner of Sterling Pools went to his house. After a thorough inspection of his equipment and valves, it was determined the filter had not been cleaned. The situation required a filter clean service as well as a salt cell clean. After the technician performed these tasks, there was noticeable circulation in the pool and water flowing freely through the pool pump.
