My pool pump stopped running and it was 30 degrees. I called two other services before Sterling and neither would come out. Sterling responded in a few hours and made the needed repair.

Debbie was referred to us by a former pool cleaner employee. Her pump was not catching prime. She had emptied both skimmer baskets and the pump basket, backwashed the filter and still having issues. Said it would prime but with great difficulty. Our lead technician went to her house to look at the pool pump. He had to repair a suction leak on the pool pump in order to get it to prime consistently.

He called to report, my pump is making noise, more importantly I think there is a leak in the pump housing. I can see that it is wet between the fixture where something is leaking. The owner went to see about this problem. After thoroughly inspecting the pump, he found that it is beyond repair. He had to install a new pool pump motor, seal and gasket, as well lubricate the backwash push/pull valve.

She called because she noticed her pool losing water faster than normal. There is no service charge to go out because she's a weekly pool service customer. Our technician went to diagnose the problem and found it relatively easily. When the pool and automatic pool sweep were running, he noticed the white hose for the booster pump was leaking badly due to a split. He replaced the hose section and this fixed the leak.

Patrick called us with an emergency because his Polaris booster pump volute is leaking so much he had to shut the system down. It started off as a pin hole leak on Friday night then by Saturday night water is gushing from the casing. Sterling Pools owner went to his house for further investigation. The Polaris booster pump volute was not the only problem. He found three electrical connections that had gone bad and were arching between each other. Patrick needed a new Polaris booster pump with wiring, pump, motor, plumbing, modification and a pump post kit. After starting the booster pump and pool pump to check the performance the pool pump motor started smoking heavily. It was quickly shut off to prevent a fire. He then had to install a new standard pool pump motor, seal and gasket along with a diffuser, diffuser O-ring and conduit fittings.
