Why did the customer contact us?

Martha called us because her filter was making a grinding noise and needed to be checked. She added: "Now the pump won’t come on at all. When I switch it on, the fuse blows every time and the pump starts to spark when it turns on. Please help so my house doesn't burn down."

Our owner went to diagnose her filter and pump problems. Her filter turned out to be fine. Nothing was broken. All it needed was to be taken apart and cleaned. Her pool pump motor, however, had to be replaced as it was a fire hazard.
