Why did the customer contact us?

Jaci called us because she noticed her skimmers are not pulling water through them. The pump seems to start up ok then loses prime, catches prime then loses it again over and over. Can you correct this problem?

Solutions provided:

The owner went to her house and first looked at both of her skimmers. The baskets were not full and there wasn't water running into them. He checked the skimmer throat openings for debris and they were clear but he did see the weir door flapper was stuck in the up position preventing water from going into the skimmer. He reached into the skimmer throat and pushed the door flap down dislodging it. He did this to both skimmers which enabled water to run freely into them to help operate the equipment.
