Job completed for Bryan R.

Completion date: June 8, 2019

Location: Wylie, TX

Why did the customer contact us?

Bryan called because his house was hit by one of the hail storms in the area. He was telling me he has insurance to cover it all, but isn't even sure if there's power out at the equipment. There are holes everywhere, hoping the pool itself wasn't damaged.

Solutions provided:

Our owner went to his house within the hour of his call. He said the filter had multiple holes in it, the PVC pipe for the valves in front of the equipment was all broken except for the spa main drain. There is still power at the equipment. The expansion joint, dec-O-seal (mastic), around the pool was decimated. Luckily the pool was not impacted, the deck is still good except for where it chipped and the coping was still good.
We replaced the filter, plumbing, backwash valve, and mastic. Bryan was very pleased and asked us for a quote to re-plaster the pool, not because it's damaged but he was wanting to later this year.
Note: removing and replacing the deck-O-seal is typically done during a pool renovation, not by itself.
