Sean has been a regular customer of ours for years when he needs repairs done or his pool cleaned up. He called us this time to say, I did it again. I let my pool go all winter and now it’s nasty brown and full of leaves… again. A technician went to bid this work, when going over his pool and equipment our tech found his filter backwash valve is leaking and related plumbing. We had to order parts and asked Sean to clean up his yard around the equipment to be sure there are no more issues. Upon our return to repair those two items, we found his automatic chlorinator and pool sweep booster pump is leaking as well. We had to replace the Polaris pool sweep booster pump seal, impellor and O-rings and the o-ring in the chlorinator to stop the leaks.

Martha called us because her filter is making a grinding noise. The pool guy said it’s making a grinding noise and needs to be checked. Now the pump won’t come on at all. When I switch it on the fuse blows every time and the pump starts to spark when turned on. Please help so my house doesn't burn down. Our owner went to diagnose her filter and pump problems. Her filter turned out to be fine, nothing broken. All it needed was to be taken apart and cleaned. Her pool pump motor however had to be replaced as it was a fire hazard.

They had just bought the house and moved in. They wanted inspection of the equipment for the pool. We found equipment pad was cracked in numerous pieces, and the filter did not work and the backwash valve was broken. The valves also needed work and they needed a timer and freeze guard for the swimming pool. We remove the pump and filter is from the equipment pad and installed a new 30" x 48" pad. We then reset the pump installed a new 36 ft.² DE filter and backwash valve, and a backwash hose to extend to the yard. We had to re-plumb the equipment to include a new three-way valve and drain valve on the return plumbing. We also installed a new timer and freeze guard in a new box.
